working on genderswap art for the royal princesses. I already got prince Helios, with a fiery golden mane instead of a rose-tinted rainbow mane, but Im still stuck with a ame for gendeswapped luna. Right now, I'm working with Selenus (genderwap of Selene, Greco-roman moon goddess) and Tilion or Isil (both associated with the moon in Tolkein mythology). Anypony got any better names?

@william1cx2 agreed. while todays episode may not have been as deep or emotional or atmospheric as others, it made up for it with a genuinely good message, and a simply hilarious premise.

Well, for a CMC episode, that was pretty entertaining. We got several Big lebowski parody-ponies, Cheerilee once again being the teacher we all wish we had, Plenty of Eyyups and Nnopes from Big Mac, Zecora being mysterious once again (I'm starting to think she may actually be some sort of sorcerer after all), and best of all, Applebloom tapdancing, fencing, weightlifting and speaking French! But still no song...I'm starting to think that they are saving all the songs for an upcoming musical episode ("tonight, we set the stage! My greatest play! All plans are laid! All debts are paid! AT THE GALA TONIGHT!")

@optimus It is a very beautiful place. I've ben there severql timesto visi relaties in Alberta. You got the huge rollin plains, the Rockies, the lakes. I'd love to live there

well, on the plus side, getting to that concert i wanted on friday will be no problem. The bad news is that this is because Im not peforming in the 6th form revue anymore. Bucking music departmet wont let me use the drumkit

@sparkywolfboy It probably does help that the mane six are apparently based n the romantic noel heroines. EG, Applejack is the hard-working, practical country gal. Classic western-romance-novel-heroine material.

@sparkywolfboy Of course. Not only is it just plain wrong, there's just something too innocent about the mane six. Maybe less so with Applejack, who sorta has a rogueish charm thing going on, but still.

@sparkywolfboy Well, for me, it's probably closer to a moe kind of love for them (Non threatening, non sexual, but a bit more than platonic). Still, there is a reason why my brushable of Fluttershy is the pony who sits on my bedside table.

@icysweet As a fanfic writer of several years experience, here are a few tips: 1. Try to avoid self-insert characters. If done well, they can be likable, but if not, they can be disasterous, and instant sue-ish material. 2. Write as the character, not the narrator (not necesarily in 1st person, but from their point of view) 3. Be descriptive. With writing, if it's not described, it's not there. Feel free to go into detail as much as you want 4. Know the material you are basing it off, like the back of ur hoof. Know every character inside ot, know every location, etc.

Well crap. Turns out the 6th form revue is the same day as the Freedom Call concert I'm going to. I guess I'll just have to do my performance and then leg it from Clapham to Camden super fast, skip the afterparty.
