@redback Well, I may as well do my own account: Let's see...it's given me new hope for the future of cartoons, it's given me respect for different kinds of music (beforehand, I would never have listened to eurobeat willingly), it's given me a generally more happy/innocent/free-spirited view on life, it's gained me about a dozen new friends (although it also lost me 2), it's given me and my best friend even more to talk about, it's gotten me back into creating fanart and fanfics, it's morals have actually helped me several times with relationships and conflicts, and several times now, watching an episode or tending to a brushable has been just what I needed to cheer up or chill out.

K guys, just a little something I wanna try. I wanna find out from as many ppl as I can, what the best thing is that MLP: FiM has done for you. Has it changed you? Has it made you a better person? Has it revealed some previously unknown talent or passion? Has it introduced you to knew people? Has it reunited you with a sibling/parent/lover? Has it had a more dramatic effect on your life? I'd really like to hear your stories.

@retl yeah, its an acquired taste. i mainly try to avoi the fanons that give big changes to the eel of the show, mostly just sticking with the fanons that add a little more personality and life to the background of the show- things like derpy and dinky, lyra and bonbon, berry punch, etc. just the background characters that have been given personalities. gives the show a sort of "expanded univese" feel to it. but i agree, i dont really like the kinds of fanons or fics that end with big changes in the canon. im actualy trying to keep that in mind with my latest fic.

@ceruleanspark I honestly dont see why the family trees have to be so complicated or ridiculous. its pretty simple: Dinky AND Sparkler are both derpy's daughters, and Berry Punch has a little sister as well as a daughter. easy peasy.

@colfax agreed. i subscribe to the airheaded version of derpy. A little ditzy, a little clumsy, kinda kooky sometimes, but not retarded or anything. and not addicted to muffins. ppl need to see that there is a difference between having a fav food, and having an addiction.

@ceruleanspark is this concerning the toy accuracy and the new blind bags, or the whole sisterhooves social thing? cos as far as I can tell, sisterhooves social didnt realy upheave any fanon relationships it just added a few more.

@stormyhugeheart The 6th-form Revue. Basically, its a big variety show put on at school by the 6th formers (seniors). And my performance is Benny Goodman's "Sing Sing Sing". I'm playing drums against a backing track.

So, I was havin a splendid day today. Got to school early due to perfect buses and trains, lessons were going well, ppl were friendly, was one step closer to converting another brony (I convinced him to join me for an episode tomorrow). Then there came the audition for the Revue. I had no way to play the backin track out loud, and then the big band ppl kicked me out so they could practice. Then it was all downhill frm there. @redback Oh, and it was obviously something to do with MLP, either being an upcoming musical number in the show, or some other upcoming song relating to the show

@macpony55 Long story short, a song entitled 'smile smile smile', appeared on youtube, apparently composed by Daniel Ingram and sung by Pinkie Pie (I forget her VA's name). it was posted on ED, with everypony speculating whether it is authentic or not. well, it got taken down, so it probably is. and now everypony is trying to get it taken off youtube too, so we, he leaker (who is an animator on the show) and Danil Ingram, dont go thru what we went thru when winter wrap up got leaked (our relationship with habsro got shaken a bit, and ingram got in trouble)

@ponydude2143 From what I see, yuo can only do that if it's YOUR material now. But it's being done. MLPwikia has deleted the page for the song, ED has had it taken down, and so forth.

@ceruleanspark Well, I'd know it has something to do with making cupcakes. But for starters, this one seems a little too long to be a number from the show. However, I did find out the leaker is an animator from the show, so that adds legitimacy, I'd say.

@remembernovember Looked up the name from the end of the video (Veronica Dela Cruz). Turns out she IS an animator at Top Draw, where the show is partially made. I'd say this adds legitimacy.

Im rly wondering whether this new "Smile Smile Smile" is a realy leaked FiM song. It doesn't really seem to have much story behind it, or seem like it takes place in a story...still, it kicks mangoes.
