  2. @redenchilada You never found the Bubbler before?

  3. @redenchilada The Nemesis is definitely worth your time too, it's a great weapon and you're gonna have a really nasty time in the Sacred Grounds if all you have is the Machine Gun

  4. @redenchilada Near Mimiga Village

  5. @redenchilada It's for getting the Nemesis, which is an optional weapon you can get

  6. @redenchilada If you haven't gotten the Booster you're good to go for fulfilling all the requirements for the good ending.

  7. @redenchilada No, before. You return to the Egg Corridor after defeating the Core for the first time and going through the Waterway to Mimiga Village.

  8. @redenchilada Go back to the Plantation and feed Ma Pignon to Curly to restore her memories, then after doing this talk to Curly again to receive the Iron Bond from her. The next thing you have to do comes during the escape sequence after defeating the Undead Core. While running, you should be able to enter the Save Building again provided you've completed all the criteria I've listed earlier. You can go in to heal and save, and there will be an opening in the ground you can go through. This will take you to the Sacred Grounds, which is another area in the game you have to clear through and it's really, really hard. You'll also have to fight Ballos at the end, who will easily be the hardest fight in the game, so if you can save the Health Jar and not use it during the 4 boss fight streak earlier it'll really come in handy here. After defeating Ballos the Good Ending will initiate, which I of course won't spoil for you so you can enjoy it. [3/3]

  9. @redenchilada She will drift away when fighting the iron fish boss, but this is to be expected. Once you're in the Plantation later in the game you'll find her and another character in the bottom right of the map. Talk to both of them and you'll learn about a special kind of mushroom you need to get to cure Curly's amnesia, which can be found in the Mimiga Graveyard. Backtrack there and go through the door to the Storage room using the Booster 2.0 (this isn't possible with the Booster 0.8 or the Level 3 Machine Gun). You'll encounter a mushroom character called Ma Pignon who will ask you a series of questions when you talk to him. The series of answers you need to give are Yes/No/Yes/Yes/No in order to get the Mushroom Badge. From there, check the Mushroom Badge in your inventory and realize it is useless by examining it, then talk to Ma Pignon again. You will have to battle him, and after defeating him he will become an item in your inventory. [2/3]

  10. @redenchilada There are a few things required to get the good ending (you'll need to do another playthrough as well since there's no way to accomplish the good ending in your current file. First up, DON'T talk to Professor Booster in the Labyrinth and get the Booster 0.8 from him. You'll be able to talk with him again and get the Booster 2.0 later. This also enables you to get the Tow Rope in the Core Room, which can be found in the bottom right of that room and you need to pick it up before talking to Curly there. This will allow you to tow Curly with you when the Core Room becomes flooded and Curly saves you, so make sure to interact with her before leaving after she saves you. When going through the Waterway you'll come across a room with a bat near it, enter the room and place Curly on the bed there, then examine the bookshelf to find out how to drain the water from her. Once you do that, take her with you and leave. [1/3]

  12. @redenchilada Considering you're almost done getting the normal ending, how have you liked/been liking the game?

  15. @redenchilada YOU MONSTER HOW COULD YOU LET THEM DIE

Thursday, 17-Sep-15 00:30:38 UTC from web in context
  16. @redenchilada Yeah, then depending on some choices you made earlier in the game you will either just get the normal ending or will have the option of going to the Sacred Grounds and getting the good ending

  17. @redenchilada It's considered two. The four bosses are Misery, The Doctor, The Enraged Doctor, and The Undead Core

  18. @redenchilada The normal ending is 4 bosses back to back

  19. @redenchilada Damn you've made good progress in one day. I'm pretty sure in that case the experience chips or whatever you wanna call them are just being affected by the fans there.

  22. @redenchilada It is, I actually really love the progression of difficulty in Cave Story. It actually lets you get accustomed to its world and mechanics before it throws skill demanding feats in your face, it essentially paces itself where it only becomes more difficult when it knows the player can handle said difficulty based on previous trials. It's actually incredible simple theoretically, but that's what makes it work so incredibly well.

  23. @redenchilada In Cave Story? Riley's right, don't get used to it. By the end the game reaches a pretty commendable level of difficulty, it's genuinely challenging to get the good ending.

  25. @redenchilada You should try playing through all of it sometime, I'd highly recommend it it's not like it's one of my favourite games or anything, baka

  26. @redenchilada Have you played Cave Story before?

  27. @redenchilada Yeah, what you drink is actually just as important. I lost a lot of weight just by not drinking as much pop and switching to drinking more water day-to-day.

  28. @redenchilada Well if you count actual fruits and vegetables in this list.

  29. @redenchilada Or if it does it's stupidly expensive. Essentially the food trade-off works like this: -Healthy
    -Tasty
    -Affordable

    Pick Two
