@redenchilada Yeah I've never been much of a Breyer's fan either, but lots of people seem to buy it. B&J's for me depends on the flavour, but generally I'd say I like their products. Our in store brand is pretty good too, though as far as store-bought ice cream goes my favourite as I said tends to be Chapman's.
-
@redenchilada I dunno if there's an obviously dominant brand here, but from working in a grocery store I can say our top sellers tend to be Chapman's, Breyer's, Ben & Jerry's, and our in-store brand.
-
@redenchilada I usually get Chapman's, which is a Canadian brand
-
@redenchilada I really didn't like them either, more of Kemps person.

-
@redenchilada what kind of games do you play
-
@redenchilada as long as you enjoy playing with someone who generally sucks at them
-
@redenchilada I have a normal sleep schedule
-
@redenchilada That one directed by David Fincher starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt involving the formation of an anarchistic underground society.

@redenchilada but you have a girlfriend which is liks 5 friends that are cute
-
@redenchilada we need to consider the number of entries in each series though, there's no real comparison
-
@redenchilada This is true, but I assumed we were talking strictly games here.
-
@redenchilada The gameplay itself also just strikes a pretty great balance between action and stealth that usually pretty effectively manages to reconcile player engagement with gameplay pacing.
-
@redenchilada Well, obviously different people can and will engage with a piece of media for different reasons, though I suppose I could tell you why I specifically have found enjoyment with the MGS franchise and that'll hopefully shed some light on the situation for you. For one thing, while the actual narrative construction and plotting is shaky at best, the character writing and dialogue composition of the series has a fair bit of colour and personality that you rarely find in AAA titles, which is certainly refreshing (and no doubt reflective of Kojima's extended involvement in the project). Also, the series is tonally a sort of camp espionage story that (intended or not) has a lot of entertainment value in its absurdism, and while not fitting neatly into metrics I'd personally consider "good writing" it's undeniably creatively composed and has its own "voice" as a piece of media.

@redenchilada you tie a balloon to something and it nyooms to mother base
-
@redenchilada It'll be way funnier if you find out for yourself.

@redenchilada Don't worry, it's like what Matt said. Context will probably make you more confused, if anything.
