@roygbiv Just to tell you several professional podcasts use skype to record for the same reason we do. They are international, currently we have one host from the UK one from Canada and one from California.

@roygbiv I am from Wisconsin and right now we're going through reelections. Lets just say that they are really throwing mud, I'm talking like bazookas filled with mud. Not only that but the winner is being predicted by the person who is spends the most money on the campaign. Lets just say that there should have been no reelections in the first place except for the senators that fled the state. That's just unforgivable, I don't care what party you're from or what message you're trying to send, you never leave your constituents behind.

@roygbiv don't know what you are talking about exactly, but I agree. Democracy sucks, I think communism sounds like a perfect world. It works like open source, and open source is amazing.

@roygbiv To be fair we were headed this direction for quite some time with the changing ideals of the nation thinking that we should help the poor and downtrodden before we solve our economic and foreign affair problems first, we don't need social reform, we need an over haul on the economy and to stop starting wars we can't finish, its just causing us debt. People like to blame bush and what not for the current debt but I find that to be bogus seeing as Obama has had 3 years to fix it, we have yet to see any sign of positive economic growth. It didn't really help when he Brought forth the stimulus bill, a 3 trillion dollar bill before congress essentially just after entering office, and hasen't even used a 1/3rd of the money. We need to kick out career politicians. They have lost sight of what their constituents want. All in all the government is a complete mess which we need to fix asap or face certain demise as a country.

@roygbiv even if the debt ceiling is raised the US's credit rating could still be downgraded since it's a based on a countries debt to GDP ratio
