@patchwork "Well... As I remember it, I was at an outdoor theater near the schoolhouse, where some fillies were practicing for a school play, dressed as various foods. The teacher, recognizing my talent, complimented me on her costume design, but I insisted that the dresses didn't meet my expectations and tried to create new ones. Sadly, to no avail. Almost immediately, a light ignites in my horn, and it shoves me, rather rudely, leftward across the land until I stumbled into a very large, not so amazing boulder. I, having thought her horn would help her find what I was meant to do, was deeply unsatisfied. Then, Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom echoed across the land, causing the boulder to split in two, revealing the boulder to be filled with fabulous gemstones! I then decided to add these to the existing costumes to improve them, earning both the admiration of the crowd, and my cutie mark. #ooc Oh god paraphrasing

Many aspects of the clothing, to be honest. It's of a higher quality than some of the fashion designers' she's met before.
