  1. # # # It's an arc to get Twilight started on her eventual (probably never to be shown in FiM, but maybe spinoff or later) ascension to the throne by having her get experience resolving political problems by proxy through managing her connections, leadership of her most trusted allies, and her friendships. And we'll also get full justification for the new Season 2 end characters over the duration of Season 3.

  2. Prediction of tommorrow's episode: Twilight Sparkle does something that causes a fight so large that she had to go and teleport back in time to warn her not to do that thing that started the conflict, which she will do ONLY Because she was trying to take some precautions, which started the mess. #

  14. !c # # # Still sticking with the Savino->Polsky->Rogers prediction for the remaining episodes. If it isn't Savino on this next one, he'll probably swap with Polsky.

  15. With only a few more minutes to go, I'm placing my bets on Larson for the current Cutie Mark Chronicles (good at handling full-cast type stuff), Savino for Owl (tends to focus on small selections of the group), Polsky for Party of One (Has already done one Pinkie-centric episode), and Rogers for Best Night (Good at writing balanced episodes, and would counter the OMG TWO-PART FAUST WRITING RETURN expectations for the episode in fitting with its theme.) If I'm wrong about the current EP, I'll... I'll draw one of the main character ponies doing something. XD Probably Pinkie Pie. # #

  16. @retl Dude! I miscounted Polsky's episodes! They only have 2 so far (Pinkie Keen, Over a Barrel), so there is a chance that they might be doing one of the next three episodes. I think I keep getting Savino and Polsky mixed up, DERP. # # #

  17. Also, Savino, Morrow, and McCarthy have already written the CMC at least once. Since none of the credited writers so far have written CMC episodes more than once, it's likely CM Chronicles will be by Larson. # #

  18. Faust: 3; Polsky: 3; Rogers: 5; Morrow: 3; Savino: 2; McCarthy: 3; Fullerton: 3; Larson: 2; Going on these stats with four episodes to go, Faust may be credited on two more to match up with Rogers, with soonest coming episodes likely being by Larson and Savino. Considering the next episode's preview on HUB and Larson's tendency to write episodes focusing on the full mane cast, they're probably going to be the writer for The Cutie Mark Chronicles. Whereas Savino seems to specialize in taking a given situation and following where the character's actions lead and weaving in allusion humor and silliness. I see him handling "Owl's Well that Ends Well". And while the title is a reference to a common saying, it could be interpreted to imply the end to the large body of hand-off episodes and a return to the directly-connected episodes just as with the pilot. It's probable that "Rogers might write up Party of One" as well, instead of Faust if it isn't a two-part episode. # #
