FINALLY! Time for the (overdue) #RDNdrawoff announcement post! The results are in, and by a vote of 4 of the 6 judges, @mushi ([s]entry below[/s]) is the winner! Huge thanks to everypony who participated, you're all amazing artists, and it really was a close call (it took two rounds of votes to settle it).

Here we go! The #RDNdrawoff is here! To determine the best (and worst) artists here, I'm officially kicking off a weeklong drawing competition, open to all users of RDN. I'll try and keep the rules simple, 3 entries per user, digital and traditional art accepted, deadline will be in one week (4/7) at noon EST (9am PST, 5pm GMT). Only art that meets the standards for public will be accepted (so no explicit). Entries can either be attached or linked, as long as they are submitted to rdndrawoff@gmail.com on time. I'll take questions/feedback here, or on my email (see profile). The theme is everypony's favorite Rainbow Dash recolor, Daring Do (anything goes, as long as she's involved somehow), and the prize is a toys-r-us gift card, redeemable for your choice of pony merch (or I hear they sell other stuff, but who buys that?).

I'm going to bed, just thought I'd remind everypony that the #rdndrawoff I mentioned awhile back is still on. I've got a theme, a prize, and I'll be setting up a submission email tomorrow (I don't have a domain or the experience for a submission site). Theme will be announced Saturday, submissions will run till the afternoon of the following one (so you'll have almost exactly a week).

I don't want to spam this too much (probably already have), but I'm [i]still[/i] trying to see who would be interested in a #RDNdrawoff to determine the [s]worst[/s] best artists here? I'm still trying to work out a few of the finer points, such as judging and incentives (I'm thinking a Toys-r-us card so you can pick out your choice of pony merch, and I can afford shipping), but first, I'd like to get an idea of who would actually submit (I'm hoping for >10 to make this worthwhile). (If this happens, I'll come up with a theme to announce next weekend, then run submissions through the following one.) For those of you who aren't artists, don't worry. I'm not one either, and I fully intend to embarrass myself too (And consult with a friend who is an artist when judging). The main idea is to have fun. #walloftext
