If this will be a success after three delays in the launch will probably be dependent on the final prize tag. Sailfish OS 2.0.2 Aurajoki user interface for this phone will include Super Apps (earlier referred as "Partner Space"), bringing #Gaana and #Snapdeal marketplaces right next to the home screen. Their location on the UI is excellent for #eCommerce, but will having these apps included lower the price of the device enough? Customers in #India are price wise in general, but having for example music and cricket content easily available might not be a bad idea for these markets either. #Fairphone and #Jolla announce deeper collaboration.
With Fairphone, Jolla shares a very active #community that values #transparency both in #hardware production and #software. Since autumn 2015 Jolla #developer community has been working to port #Sailfish OS to the Fairphone 2, the ethical #smartphone that uses #modular #design to increase the phone’s #longevity and #repairability. Following the progress of the community #porting, Jolla and Fairphone are now evaluating possibilities to enter into commercial collaboration based on common #values.

Ist ja toll, dann kann ich in #Zukunft nur noch über das original Ladegerät vom Hersteller mein Handy laden. Das Ladegerät geht natürlich rechtzeitig nach Garatieablauf kaputt und wird nicht mehr hergestellt. Somit ist man gezwungen, ein neues #Handy zu kaufen. Dieser #Kapitalismus und die geplante #Obsoleszenz funktionieren perPotato Knishest :(
