  1. Twitter claimed that totally legitimate automatically posting bot was spam. Sure, it linked to new articles, up to 100 links / day. But they didn't ever specify what's spam and what's not. I've been annoyed by that fact often (on other services too).

  14. @jcaktiv the list would not necessarily "complete". Only instances who have subscribers on the local instance are "known".

    There are a lot of test instances around, instances that have drowned in #, instances, who don't want to federate, instances who don't know about the federation, etc.
