Been either shredding or filing articles ('reducing' stacks of magazines); broke my handy little stapler on the heavy paper the magazine is printed on :( #tomorrow I'm going to Groningen again - this time for a building - renovation fair; have an appointment with the 'architects shop' to hopefully get some useful tips.

#hammock time! Early-ish but I had a busy day. At least I finished all homework for my Grunneger toal course: next lesson will be #tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it!

Seems I need extra sleep after my flu shot - but that's ok: so I've retired to my #hammock after doing about half my homework for the Grunneger Toal course today: I'll do the other half #tomorrow ;-)

early #hammock time for me: need to catch up on lost sleep (though I've been reasonably productive today - given that I need to use Dennis the laptop for nearly everything). Also, I bought 4 ravens today. :D #tomorrow I should do hw USB3 tests ( #ihatehardware) , get a flu shot, go to physio, do homework for my course and more!

House viewing was a success, a very good candidate that 'needs' very little work - which is of course different from what I would *like* to do: my broker is now busy finding out if that would actually be allowed (likely but I need to know for sure). If it's all OK we'll put in an opening bid #tomorrow. Excited once again! #househunting

I've finished my analysis (well, mostly at least, enough to start with) so #tomorrow I'll start writing an interesting #plugin for #WordPress. I've done small and simple ones, but this is much more involved, replacing an admin area with a different (and more flexible) implementation of the same idea. Need a good night's sleep first, I haven't completely overcome the no-sleep night last Friday...

pfft, about time to relax a bit - WP is still resistant but I am beating it into submission, one PHP statement at a time (sort of one step forward per day) :) So: !beer o'clock! #tomorrow there's another day ;-)

I found an interesting flaw (*not* bug) in #WordPress: it assumes that if your blog's base URL is different from the WP installation URL, you blog with be *relative* to the WP install. While that will most often be the case, there's no reason why it must be so; I have the blog sitting "next to" the WP install and I cannot think of a reason why this _could_ not work. So, I must ponder this, and how it's handling it, to find a workaround. Best way to "ponder" is sleep! I'll stop for today, read a bit, sudoku a bit, and fall asleep. Then #tomorrow I'll see if I can whip up some workaround code. :) #programming

OK, I think I've got all of my images, data and metadata from #SmugMug - #tomorrow I'll check, and if all's ok, cancel my account. That's good progress (but poor consolation for seeing yet another house "get away from me") - but maybe thre will be new ones #tomorrow. #hammock now!

A decent time to be in my #hammock. Strange day spent mostly doing calculations to try and figure out a way to estimate the current value (to me) of solar panels on the roof of a candidate house where all I know is number of panels, age, and approximate yield in kWh. Anyway, that house is a definite candidate (while the preceding one is looking less and less so). My broker will try to find out more about the panels, and then our first bid should be placed #tomorrow... #househunting

sleepy time! didn't do all I wanted to do but nevertheless a lot. Boring job for #tomorrow is to type out all the data I gathered about solar panels Sunday and today and make a little depreciation model so I can determine what the current value of already-installed solar panels is. Which influences the price of a house, of course. #househunting

August/September always is an expensive time of the year for me anyway... please poke me if I'm not reporting ordering a RAID box tomorrow!
