@techdisk Hello, person.
-
@techdisk NU!
-
@techdisk I think I might've missed it? Sounded normal and chiptuney to me.
-
@techdisk Sounds kinda weird
-
@techdisk Gross
-
@techdisk So I've heard. I'm pretty anxious to arrive there.
-
@techdisk Halifax, NS :)
-
@techdisk (also it seems I can watch the entire first episode online. Sweet!)
-
@techdisk Ah, yes. Space channel has it on at 9:00. *sets watch timer*

@techdisk I might go check some out and see if I have the money to spend on a pair right now

@techdisk Those look pretty sweet. I need some new headphones...
-
@techdisk Incompetent and incromulent. A true pickle.
-
@techdisk I laughed a bit much for this.
-
@techdisk How long did that take y- oh

@techdisk (I can't believe I spent 10 minutes making that)
-
@techdisk ok, maybe not spelled out with them, but the guy just left a note saying to leave your doors locked.

@techdisk Yay!
-
@techdisk So you are updating your WiiU console with all the data ( Mii's, highscores, personal information ) from your Wii ?
-
@techdisk Wouldn't a regular backup have worked just as well ?
-
@techdisk ... How do you transfer to yourself ?
-
@techdisk The 3DS transfer does the same
-
@techdisk I probably have enough space around here to at best duplicate a 1 TB partition. But I will have to scourge my backup disks for space. What program would you use to do such a thing though ? Or would you just "dd" it ?
-
@techdisk Negligible or not, if I knew I could get a negligible increase in speed by pre-planning a bit more, I'd do it. :)
-
@techdisk Also, side question, since when are you even remotely allowed to scatter partitions around on the disk ? Well maybe if you were using some sort of dynamic standard, but I recon that the sheer overhead data of what partition is where requires a whole seperate ( abeit smallish ) partition.

@techdisk http://serverfault.com/questions/193698/which-part-of-of-a-hard-drive-has-the-highest-throughput-beginning-or-end-of-dr I am not the only one whom seems to think this way though
-
@techdisk I was trying to "explain" that when you make a dual-boot system the one you plan to use the most often should be on the beginning of your HD due to speed. Although in hindsight this might be really REALLY negligible since HD's started to become larger than 2 GB
