I'm proofreading a master thesis for a friend (non-native English speaker) and there are so many little idiosyncratic mistakes. Several times "treats" is written instead of "threats" or "enchanted" instead of "enhanced".

Bought a rice cooker. Finally well-cooked rice. Just 20 bucks to solve my rice woes. I hate cooking rice in a regular pot because it is hard to get it right there.

@adiwan Throw a chopped potato and some prawns in with the rice, it's the only Iron Chef recipe I've been able to pick up from the show.

@firestormdangerdash Hmmm....I'm fine with my automatic device. I don't trust high pressure and hot water enough. I already burn myself putting things out of the oven. Steam burns are nastier.

@scribus If this isn't some gag I'm missing, both Triforces were colour-coded green and red in the Zelda cartoon, with all three being RGB by the time of Captain N.

@oracle This is a property (C#). So it is just a fancier way to make the same as void isEnabled(bool setValue) and bool isEnabled() but without the parenthesis.

Dammit. My electric shaver is barely functioning. The trimming mechanism is out of whack. I had a hard time getting rid of my 3 week beard. It felt like an epilator. Need to learn how to wet shave.

I wish my tablet had a larger bezel. It's uncomfortable to hold it a long time without accidentally making an input on the touch screen. I hate the trend of making screens and also smartphones and tablets shrink the bezel size.

After a year I have finally decided where and how to hang my picture frames. https://i.imgur.com/THSpYF3.jpg I put them into my hallway. At first I wanted 5 frames in a row but it'd be too busy. I think 2 rows of 4 look fine.

@scribus We run a custom campaign setting. Basically our characters went to an undiscovered country, far far away from their own, and settled there. Basically it's a frontier settling next to old civilization ruins (2 days of travel away in a jungle). Basically dragons and dragonborns were the Goa'uld (Stargate) and enslaved other worlds to support their own. The ruins next to our settling were abandoned a long time after a bloody revolt of yet unknown history behind that. This is so far as I know it. Last session we learned that dragons were behind of this and all that stuff.
