@renovatedkitchen yeah...the rx-7 was her project carand even then...it should be fully operational by next month or so. it's been already 6 months since she got it and has been working on it. the car was sold at a rip off price and even then, she drove really far up to get it. it was almost a 2 hour drive... .-. the car was a complete wack job and she had to fix it all up...with a friend's help ofc.

@renovatedkitchen i know. :3 i feel bad for my gf though. :X rotary = horrible gas mileage... ;-; ugh. the fact that she has not 1...but 2 rotaries!! .-. oh well~ now that she landed herself a job, i assume she'd be able to pay for her own gas so i can at least pay for our adventures during the weekends. LOL haha XD

@renovatedkitchen my gf also has an rx-7 turbo II model... :X i am mentioning her alot because she's the one more into the car scene atm than I due to the fact she actually owns like 3 cars. :U she owns her phantom blue RX-8, white rx-7 turbo II model and a '95 or '96 honda civic which she plans on either selling or converting the car to automatic for her mum. idk. she's on and off about it but i believe she wants to sell it and if so, she's selling it for like 2K. it has alot of stuff done to it too. hehe. -w-

@vampixxkitty nice! Rotary's are pretty cool engines for that stuff. I would love to see pictures of the miata once it's in. Working on cars is fun, but remember, don't bite off more than you can chew!

@renovatedkitchen hehe. my gf plans on using her rx-8 for auto-x's and so on. you know? and like...i would love to work on the miata once i get it. i have a mazdamovement hoodie. (it's a brand founded by one of my friends) and they sell all mazda-related merch on the site. i actually got the hoodie during formula D in PBIR back during summer. i got to meet my japanese drifting idols and i got my "swagbag" full of signed posters and stickers and frames for the license plates. haha. i got myself a zoom zoom license plate frame and i basically have alot of things i need for the miata already. just need to get it. and as for the donor part, um...i don't know about that. LOL i'm debating over it. i don't want to go through all that work. i might just stick with the NA miata honestly. NB is nice and all but yeah...not worth the swapping of the headlights tbh... and yeah. miata's are fun cars. ^w^ and the rx-8 has a sexy rev noise. *_* hehe. i actually own a rotary necklace and keychain. :3

@vampixxkitty yup. Add away :). It all depends on the situation. FWD is good for gas milage and a low powered car. RWD is boss for drag racing as well as track racing. AWD is great for high HP street cars, drag racing and track. It makes the car heavier, but traction is easier to get. Street tires on a AWD car will be harder to squeal than street tires on a RWD. AWD is also boss in rallying. But makes for awesome snow drifting, as the front tires are pulling you forward into the turn as the back slides out.

@pony Just the fact that the car @renovatedkitchen drifted was AWD. tis cool. my gf drag races her RX-8 every so often BUT she wants to get her racing license and stuff. ^^' hehe.. i plan on getting my first car in 2013. i personally want an 96 ~ 98 NA miata. NB is cool because of the body style but if only it had the headlights on the NA, it would be so much cooler-looking~ X3

@renovatedkitchen RWD is boss too but AWD is cool too. LOL drifting in an AWD car...and in the snow? oh my~ hehe. I need to study more about cars though (i feel like a noob still but i definitely learned more. XD) since i see my gf only on the weekends now. :X hehe. do you think i can add you on skype? owo
