@adiwan Lock Picking Lawyer had a groaningly base one, but his was at least brief and not overly tortured
-
@adiwan My mom actually watched it regularly, so it would often be on when I was visiting and there was already a . . . "social" or "collective" disposition to it, I guess?
-
@adiwan It's a sweet show, I enjoyed the random episodes I caught.
-
@adiwan I would dig the heck out of that, and I haven't even watched since Pickle Rick, lol
-
@adiwan I dunno, lol. This is really probably just Perfectionism stepping on Productivity's toes. Mostly I just was looking for a reliable way to check if something I would write would be physically plausible. But I've already taken pages of notes on "The Secret of NIMH" and other cartoons and actual live animal footage, so I probably don't *need* anything at all.
-
@adiwan Yeah, it's a thing. The other week for me it was, $2100 for a new bed? Why not, that's only 1/26th what we paid for our Tesla. No but seriously, I still feel tremendously guilty and uncomfortable when I go to a restaurant.
-
@adiwan I would usually translate it into hours based on whatever I was paid at the time. "This gameplay had better last longer than the work to buy it."
-
@adiwan OK *now* I'm conflicted, lol
-
@adiwan Buying a home in the 60s did similar to my grandparents. Usually manifested in the opposite way, though, like "Why the hell is a KIA twice as much as our house?!"
-
@adiwan Gleeful
-
@adiwan Nice, station wagon. They still make those with wood paneling?
-
@adiwan I think the issue was more that it was completely unscheduled and out of nowhere so they didn’t have time to replace me when I was suddenly too ill to work the next day. In retrospect it was probably irresponsible of me to have taken it when I knew I had work the next day but like, hey, the vial was gonna go to waste otherwise.
-
@adiwan Well ain't that just infuriatin'?
-
@adiwan Good wacky? I like wacky.
-
@adiwan Yeah, I'm more hoping the four members who left over it re-form or at least go on to more success than I am worrying for the one jackboot, lol. And I'm not super-surprised, because after 9/11 they took a hard Right, anyway. It's more just surreal to see happening. And I can't help thinking of Alice Cooper's take on rock in politics: "Why would you listen to US? We can't even hold down a real job!"
-
@adiwan It's even less than that! It may play out like something something seedy joint, blablabla bar brawl, but I was just too damn drunk to play pool and hit the damn table with my hand :-/ haha
-
@adiwan Yeah, that one's much more about antics and story than plot. And fanservice. Like, to such a core extent one wonders if it's even "service" anymore, lol.
-
@adiwan Sounds a different kind of painful in context
-
@adiwan that sounds dirty and painful outside of contact
-
@adiwan But Eddie Murphy is playing four characters, that never means schlock and broad slapstick!!
-
@adiwan Neat! I don't imagine the Plus/4 was a grand gaming machine?
-
@adiwan oh, I totally misread that, too. I had somehow construed it to mean that both were, collectively, a single square on the card... haha
-
@adiwan I hope the medical issue wasn't unduly compounded
-
@adiwan Seriously!? The rotten luck...
-
@adiwan Second
-
@adiwan Eh, semi. heh But yeah, a whole different matter when it's crappy neighbors.
-
@adiwan Ugh, that's painful... I think I got 3 hours of sleep in 72+ hours the last time "Sage and Savant" did a live show.
-
@adiwan I found an online shop and placed an order, but I was already out running my weekly errands so I figured I'd take a futile look
-
@adiwan I myself tend to peter out around "...Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guyana and still..." before "Ecuador, Chile, Brazil!" and kind of losing the thread again.
