@dlcentaur But what I mean by "only to be expected" has to do with the fact that people like @bronymike are famous... or notorious, perhaps, depending on PoV... because our fan culture spawned them. A lot of the content that keeps us paying attention to them is garnered by observing _us_. They watch for subculture trends and phenomena like #SaveDerpy.

@bronymike I finally got around to testing the projectors last night, they both work fine. Aspect ratio is no problem, they show black bars as required to maintain the aspect ratio. One projector is slightly brighter, the other has better color. I'd go with the one that has better color, given that the room has no windows and can be made dark. On the audio side of things, do we have everything required to go from the laptop's 1/8" jack to whatever speakers we're using?

@bronymike Both are VGA input and have ~6' VGA cables. 1024x768 (XGA) is the native resolution, they may accept higher but would scale down to XGA.

@bronymike Well the server is like quadruple cached at the moment or something so, at this point I'm expecting EVERYTHING to be out of date and whacky. And yeah, the best solution right now is the ?page=2 thing. Can you mention it to ceruleanspark and mrdragon really quickly, so they can look into it in case it is an issue?

I have made a Vancouver Bronies facebook to try and expand the RDN group to people without accounts on this site currently, as well as to include people who do not want to use RDN. The group is not meant at all to take away from the community of this group, but rather to expand to people not aware of this one. The group can be found here http://www.facebook.com/groups/399904186700708/ Also, @bronymike if you are interested I would love to have you as an admin of the group, since you okayed the idea and are the admin of this one

@bronymike !vancouverbronies While I see your point, there are also a lot of bronies on FB who were desperately seeking out other bronies... who happen to not be on RDN. I did not know this existed until the article on ED!

@bronymike I can understand that for sure. My main reasoning was that we could plan events outside of the saturday meetups easier, but I don't know how well it would work what with people trying to be private and whatnot.
