  4. @meloetta *sigh* exactly... || I mean, I'm hard wired to be severely emotional and other things like recent illness or lack of sleep can make me even easier to trigger... You get used to it, ya know? When that's your baseline emotional state, you just learn to live with it and deal. But some days... ergh... it kinda hurts... I'm having one of those 'I feel so MUCH it frakkin' HURTS' kinda days...

  5. @meloetta Fortunately agony has left the building... I'm just having one of those days where my emotions are fine tuned to hyperventilate anytime I think about an angel in a trenchcoat. (which is kind of... a lot)

  7. @coutz @awlditzy Agreed, but it has to be the right kind of chiropractor too. The ones that do the type of tonal care that focuses attention on total nervous system health vs. the one's who focus more on spinal alignment. My previous chiropractor, whom I loved dearly, only did torque release and it was awesome. The new one does a fusion of active and torque release and it's like awesome with a side of awesome and some even more awesome sprinkled on top with a fizzy awesome to wash it all down.

  8. @coutz Just been suffering from a variant of body woe's. Started with a stiff neck that became a neverending headache (like 2.5 weeks of pain!). Then I got a sore throat and female complications for christmas (joy). I've been self medicating with garlic, hot peppers and vitamin c supplements to fight off the sore throat/head cold, but my body was still struggling to fight off the infection. Fortunately I have a really good chiropractor (finally!), he made an adjustment that boosted my immune system just enough for me to start feeling better.

  9. Finally feeling a little bit better... visit to chiropractor and an extra large dose of muscle relaxers to help me sleep/heal... just the push my immune system needed to nudge it over the hump.

  15. @mastertdi On my husband's side. Law Enforcement has been the family business since the dark ages. They've always protected civilians and those who could not protect themselves. There are honorable cops out there. Try to remember that.

  16. @mrmattimation Sobriety sucks. Having to feel absolutely every emotion, 100 % all the time with no breaks and no time off for good behavior sucks even worse. But, the alternative of wasting all my money on booze so I can not feel for a couple of hours isn't any better. It's better to be sober, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
