    2. @mrdragon I would join it but I don't like forums anymore, plus it's so difficult to keep up with this and tons of other stuff I do.

    3. @mrdragon The forums have devolved into nothing but 'talk about yourself' threads, where people go in, make a post about themselves, and leave. There's no conversation.

      1. @engelhardt I've seen some discussing possible time periods for MLP

      2. @engelhardt O we got conversing a bit, but the issue I think is as you say, people join say hi and leave. Maybe you can change that? Give us something interesting to talk about :) you never know, maybe meet a brony near you, you know how it goes. Forums to start with are slow, but they will get better as time goes around.

    6. @mrdragon a forum for a site like this seems completely redundant.

      1. @starshine a little easier to search and respond to a topic since they don't just disappear after a while like they do here

        1. @macpony55 Nothing disappears from here.

          1. @starshine Each pony to their own :\

          2. @starshine It doesn't, but sometimes you'll fall behind on a conversation, click the 'in context' link, and there will be hundreds of messages to sort through, and it's very meh.

            1. @engelhardt a forum is slightly less hectic when it comes to a certain topic in my opinion, although for general chat I prefer a cite like this

            2. @engelhardt I think the trouble is nopony's really sure whether this is more of a chat or a forum, because it kind of acts like both. But in any case, I have a lot of opinions about forums and most of them are along the lines of "don't make new ones".

              1. @starshine agreed

              2. @starshine If there's already a forum for a subject, it's probably a good idea to us it.
