You know I hit the jackpot with the EZCap? Well I did...with Wii at least. The 360 crops off 3/4 of the screen and goes black and white ¬_¬ !techponies

@leonkfox I know a lot who started off with Dazzle. I did myself. Maybe give that a go if the EZCap doesn't work.
-
@leonkfox Are you using the 360 in an SD resolution?
-
@pinhooves If this were an Easycap I would have expected this, that thing doesn't support Pal 60, the EZCap however does, which makes it incredibly frustrating.
-
@redenchilada Eeyup, I made sure to set it to that before disconnecting the HDMI cable, switched it to 480p and then plugged in the composite cable, set up the EZCap etc.
-
@leonkfox I'm laughing at you right now.
-
@leonkfox 480_p_? You do know composite only goes to 480i, right?
-
@emofluttershy Cheers.
-
@redenchilada Oh...well, there's my !derp moment for the night.
-
@leonkfox Count yourself lucky that you're only scheduled for one tonight. :p
-
@scribusmyers So I'm hoping, anyway.
-
@leonkfox Knock wood.
-
@redenchilada Well, it seems there's no way to get the 360 to output at anything lower than 480p.
-
@leonkfox Really? Must be a PAL thing, then. I'm only familiar with NTSC, sorry.
-
@redenchilada I was going to try changing the video standard (i.e NTSC_433, just one example of one) but I can't find the menu that lets me do that within VirtualDub. I can find it in Arcsoft Total Media 2, but video captured through there lagged like hell most of the time.
-
@redenchilada No worries.
-
@leonkfox Hmm. You sure it's not somewhere in the Video menu when you're capturing?
-
@scribusmyers Just did. :P
-
@redenchilada Not sure, but even if I did know, fat lot of good changing the video standard would have done, even in Arcsoft it isn't showing up right. What have I done wrong, then? (not asking you to answer, specifically) It's annoying though, connected via scart, at the lowest possible resoluion, on PAL 60...no idea what could have gone wrong.
-
@scribusmyers It was intentional, heh.
