@lyokotravels I recently admitted that I just don't play my ancient Game Boy games and that I was hanging onto them for bragging rights and got rid of them. It wasn't easy, but it was liberating.

@yodelerty Oh dear Luna, *those* kids. It sickens me that parents these days even allow 12 year olds play an M rated game. I, myself waited until I was 17 just so I could try that World at War demo. What the hay is with this world?

@pinhooves I dunno. I was watching "Nightmare on Elm Street" at about that age. Then again, a movie's not participatory, and it falls to the parents to determine whether the kid can tell reality from fantasy or not.

@scribus It just doesn't make sense why parents allow children to play games that involve use of weapons. It kind of surprises me that the Uncharted series is rated T. I guess it's because little to no blood is involved. :l

@pinhooves I've had toy guns since quite honestly before I can clearly remember. Nerf, water guns, flippin LASER tag... I honestly think it's a good thing to raise kids with exposure to it - as long as you teach them concepts like appropriate force and reality vs. fantasy.

@scribus Yeah, you're right. I just think it would be better if parents these days would wait until their children are old enough for games like Call of Duty (Although multiplayer is TERRIBLE (IMO))

@pinhooves They were only doing about 10 MPH each. :p The real issue was realizing in mid-air that the bed of the truck I was landing in was full of junk. :O

@pinhooves No idea. Bad parents, I suppose. I also waited until I was 17 to buy Metal Gear Solid 4 (which I will beat one day), but I did play Conker's Bad Fur Day when I was 10. I'm going to make an exception for that, though, because that game was awesome.
