          1. @minti I got the hang of it in a couple of minutes. just add vertices to a box and move the vertices closer to the form. then curve them

            1. @getacutiemark @pony XD Luckies. I do NOT have the patience to do that. Tried, gave up with how long it takes. xD

              1. @minti so was i, then i tried a different approach. just use the box method. like scuplting or carving

                1. @getacutiemark Box method? Never heard of it. xD

                  1. @minti what i just told you. just make a box around the size of an object, then add vertices and move them around. then, curve them. i notice that the lesser anchor points i have, the smoother the shape

                    1. @getacutiemark Oh. Heh, I'll try it. xD

              2. @minti I used a simple tutorial and the rest was just patience like you said. I'm getting a lot faster, but my very first project took me about 8 hours.

                  1. @minti with practice I hope I'll be able to complete one in that amount of time.

                    1. @pony XD My friend vectors stuff using Photoshop, he tried to teach me, didn't go so well. Takes him a good like 6 hours or so to vector stuff. xD

                      1. @minti my first experience with vectoring years ago was with Paint Shop Pro (not the best choice for vector art by the way). I made a Powerpuff Girls fan art that took me about 12 hours.. Then I took a class and learned that there are better programs (used Adobe Illustrator). Now I'm using Inkscape.

                        1. @pony Illustrator is actually a great program to use - it's what I learned digital typography on, actually.

                              1. @getacutiemark Typography's mainly for developing things for print - I just learned how to do it in programs like Illustrator and InDesign, because they can be scaled without pixelization.
