@forestrain Yeah I knew what it was before you said anything, I know why too.. There's little I can do about it though. xD

@forestrain Although if you can think of a solution I'd be glad to fix it. The problem is that for attachments, the thumbnail is the full image scaled down. So if someone posts a 1983891x1283912 vector it'll lag you quite a bit.

@minti Hrm... is there a an image thumbnail site? If so, you could pass the link off to that site, get an appropriately sized thumbnail, and send that to the user.

@minti Yeah, it's not really worth it, for the few times it happens. If it could tap into local PHP, it'd be easy as pie, but meh.

@forestrain !mintrefresh Think people would be mangoesed off if I replaced it with a placeholder image? It kind of defeats the purpose of there being tumbnails..

@minti This bug does not occur in rdnrefresh, perhaps compare the code to see what's going wrong?

@minti Course, you could just not create thumbnails for images bigger than X by Y. >.>

@toksyuryel RDN Refresh updates the posts from the timeline itself, which has attachments already parsed and sorted and tumbnailed server side. Mine can't do that xD

@minti Blah, writing scripts sucks. Just code your own StatusNet client in PHP and be done with it.
