My school finally updated Firefox to the latest version so RDN Refresh works now. Productivity levels = low.

@redenchilada We're not allowed to run any .exe files. The system blocks executing any file that isn't on a whitelist. Our system admin got quite paranoid after one of my friends turned the school network into a botnet, stole all the personal files of all students and the complete school database. Fun fact: he still has access to all of that, .exe files were never the problem.

@omni To add to that, even our right mouse button has been disabled, which really kills efficiency.

@yodelerty I use all the latest safari and firefox. I always update it when I can.

@omni Press the "opt." button and click, that functions as a right click.

@redenchilada The database with locations, full names and private contact info of all students will surely help me one day when I get my revenge... But besides that, it's saddening, yes, though not as hilarious as the HBGary hack.

@redenchilada Yeah, I do. I use a Mac mini, with Flash that I manually installed. Now I'm really embarrassed about that rather obviously wrong comment I made.

@thecloakednightmare Guess how I feel when I start getting annoyed because all my special Linux hotkeys don't work on my Windows installation just to remember that I'm forced to use "that OS I don't really like" again =/

@omni I use a Mac, and I hate not being able to use all the things I know about them when I'm at my school. They all use really old windows. :(

@greatandpowerfuleaglehooves I've never used a MAC, but I'm generally not too fond of Apple's "you use one product, you use all our products" marketing so I'd rather stay far away from it.

@thecloakednightmare I hate that I can't easily tile things like I'm used to on my Linux system. One Window at a time and Windows overlapping each other just feels so... inefficient to me.

@omni I'm not a fan of their computers either. I like the idea of the challenge though. My laptop would be a hay of a fight to Hackintosh though. The hardware doesn't play nice with Linux, so OSx isn't happening.

@thecloakednightmare Because I own an iPod Touch and I'm getting doleed off every day Apple thinks that owning a music player from them means they get to decide which Operating System I use as well. No. I buy one product and if I want to integrate stuff with each other then that is my choice, not Apple's choice.
