Guys, I know this sounds hopelessly sappy and needy... but please don't forget me... things don't really look as rosy as I keep trying to pretend they are and I'm as unsure of everything as I've ever been, I feel like I'm made of glass and you all are just about the only thing helping me keep it together these days.

@colfax Yes it sounds hopelessly sappy and needy ... But I am offended by the thought that you think I will forget you soon, sure give it a month or 3 and eventually the guy with the cool luna guard avatar will succumb to being forgotten but... Yea... Can you blame me there ?

@awlderpy I've left everything I've ever known to move 1500 miles away and work in a McDonald's... I don't necessarily see this as an improvement...

@colfax I did the same thing. I moved 800 miles away from my hometown and all my friends. Nine years later, I have a ton of great friends, happily married for four years to my first best friend that I made here, and am generally quite happy. My only regret is not being able to visit my family as often as I could before certain things happened. It was really hard at first, but I made it out okay and have carved a really nice life for myself here. Just make time to visit and call those you love back home. :)

@mintystarshine I have no one "back home", any friends I had moved on years ago and I have no family left above ground, the people on this site here are, quite literally, the only friends I have in the world.
