@oracle I ... I ... I can't help my self, this as happened to much today... my goodness... I post something and then people assume my position and then post angrily or whatver it is about it, then I have to make a long winded speech in time before this gets out a conntoll... it is frustrating... @nerthos They are always entitled to their opinions but there are two ways will dealing with trolls, either ignore them or make a strong and well thought out speech against there point and politely ask them to join in the debate therefore, making the whole procees a productive and happy one for the troll will either leave or be brave and start debating with you and so will tear apart the seams of each stance and open up light on the subject matter.

@metaltao That approach works if you're working to prove the troll is indeed a troll, but will not actually /stop/ the troll. It will, if succesful, make him a pariah, which is desirable in many cases.

@nerthos He won't continue, for this same tactic that I mentioned is also based of a common trolling tactic. If I just keep going and not ever get angry by realizing he has an opinion (which I clearly need more practice on, It has been a few years since I was even remotely angry at someone) and there for just waste his time and troll him?
