@pony It is exactly the same. Even the Fluffy Pony meme is a direct copy and paste of a concept from the Touhou Fandom.

@pony That's actually completely true. I've had a lot of exposure to the Touhou fandom, and it's exactly the same.

@pony They're humanoid but not actually human; but what the characters are isn't relevant to what the fandom is like.

@pony It's a series of "bullet hell" video games and a few spinoffs. Just like with ponies, fans have created mountains of artwork, remixes, animations, and even their own games.

@toksyuryel o.o It does look like there's a lot of stuff out there. I've run across some of the characters in the past not knowing what they were from.

@toksyuryel @ceruleanspark I do see the resemblance now. Even though the Touhou games and the MLP show are different, the fandoms are very similar.

@pony That's all I had saved up unfortunately. These were all from before I found ponies, and my collection since then consists largely of ponies and nearly nothing else.
