@awlditzy *thinks about that for a second* ... Let me get some numbers here *searches for some numbers* ... If Texas were to seccede from the USA they would have to screw up BADLY if they would end up anywhere below the 15th largest economy in the world as a sovereign nation. I wonder what some oil-giants would have to say about it though, I would love to simply ask a employee of ConocoPhilips or Exxon Mobil, because sertainly it would shake things up in the oil-industry by A LOT, probably for the whole continent you could feel the shift.

@metaltao Any piece of paper saying that a country or state can't do something they have done so before is by design faulty. Also as pointed out by the video Texas could MAKE congress into rewriting virtually anything if they multiply their power of congress by 5, and if they do not play ball, New Texas 1 2 3 4 and 5 could just fillibuster EVERYTHING untill they do get what they want. Isn't politics great :) ( I'll be sitting over here in my desk-chair laughing out loud at phundits like John Steward when it happens )

THEY WILL DESTROY THIS SUBJECT WITH FACT CHECKING AND ALL OF THAT JAZZ! HAHAHA... THta is depressing...

@metaltao He will succeed David Latterman as the host of The Late Show, effective when Mr Letterman retires. Also Steven has announced that he will not be hosting the show as his well know satirical right wing persona well known from The Colbert Report.
