  1. @broniebrown Knowing you as somewhat of a connoisseur of video games, At what FPS is Megaman X supposed to run on ? I am struggling with an emulator over here

    1. @critialcloudkicker I don't know if the FPS is artificially lowered but I take that assumption:
      If PAL
      FPS = 24
      else if NTSC
      FPS = 25

      1. @broniebrown I am toying around with SNES emulators on the PSP, and I tried starting with a game I actually know to see if it works. right now I have 2 emu programs ( Snes 9x TYL mod3 and Snes 9x Euphoria R5 ) to try, but on both the game just felt "off". I pushed it from 50 ( which felt too slow ) to 60 ( which feels too fast, and causes tearing in the background ) ... Yea, I am somewhat at a loss here

        1. @critialcloudkicker The best part about numbers is that there are ten of them between 50 and 60.

          1. @zeldatra I see your sarcasm and raise you a "Force a PAL game to run as a NTSC game by terms of FPS speed" you gon' get burned.

            1. @critialcloudkicker I'm just saying, like, if 50 is too slow and 60 is too fast, it's probably something in between. Like 59.97.

              1. @zeldatra There are only integer values for a reason, when I tried to tweak around with those the game background became a horrible horrible mess

      2. @broniebrown That's not how video standards worked at all. PAL is 50FPS and NTSC is 60 (technically 59.97, and then TECHNICALLY the SNES bends the standard and runs at like 60.003 or something).
