I don't know why, but I like RDN better than Facebook and Twitter. The idea is pretty much the same, but... I can't help but feel that here is where I belong, on RDN, partying (Pinkie Pie Style) with fellow bronies, celebrating our similarities and differences, and fandom of the TV show that we have all come to love. I don't belong on Twitter, nor Facebook, I belong right here, on RDN. Here, I don't need to pretend to dislike My Little Pony, I can speak, free of judgement and discipline, I can be myself, the Brony that I am.

@nvrrmbr I like the fact that it's a lot smaller, people respond to each other from the public page. then there's also the fact that we all have a common interest. reason I never liked twitter, facebook and myspace was because it all felt like a giant e-peen war for who had the most subscribers/followers/"friends"

@nvrrmbr yeah, i find that there is some stuff that I will post here, but not on Facebook. and not all of that stuff is pony related. like when I was complaining about my mom getting distracted by our neighbor earlier (they are still talking), I didn't post that on Facebook. I think that on Facebook, I don't post nearly as much, because I don't want to clog up my friends' news feeds. but here, everyone's everything gets dumped in one feed, so i don't feel as bad

@keeponrocking Agreed. I got Facebook a few years ago or something because people were bugging me to play Farmville and stuff with them. Got tired of that after a week or something, and now I never use it. @jetsparks Hey, you new here?

@keeponrocking this is true - I think RDN is one of the few places where the public feed is super-friendly. It's like Twitter, but made of rainbows and sunshine.

@zukraze well you know, friendship is magic after all. The way this fanbase conveys the message of the show so well never ceases to astound me. It's not just here, it's everywhere I go thats pony related, you always get the same open arms greeting. *brohoof*
