I'm still working on that pilot idea I had a while back. I don't know how to write interesting female characters because I grew up in a society with male-dominated media BUT DAMMIT I'M TRYING MY BEST

@mrmattimation It's genuinely refreshing that society is much more open to complex female leads these days and that we can portray women in media as being outside of the archetypal.

@mrmattimation Just write a man, and add breasts! It works for Hollywood.

@northernnarwhal I didn't make any sort of conscious decision to make the lead female, it's just sort of how I imagined it would go.

@mrmattimation Yeah I get that, things just sort of fell into place for you. In my high school Creative Writing class I gave my final a female lead just because it felt natural to me while writing it.
