    1. @thelastgherkin "Inside Out" was renamed to "Alles steht Kopf", which translates to "Everything on its head", which means "Everything out of the order" or "chaos". "Big Hero 6" was renamed to "Baymax - Riesiges Robowabohu". As you might expect it means "Giant robowabohu". "Tangled" is not correctly translated to "verwickelt" but to "Rapunzel - Neu verföhnt", which is a stupid pun on "verfilmt" (filmed) and "Föhn" (a hair dryer). Disney Europe has a bad marketing department.

      1. @adiwan Somehow I feel like the UK and the rest of the EU don't share marketing departments.

      2. @adiwan But presumably the films are dubbed into German? I can understand changing the title if you're also translating all the dialogue, but I don't expect them to change the city's name to Zootropolis and talk about pavements and lifts and lollipop men.

        1. @thelastgherkin Yeah. There are some liberties allowed but they could easily think of better names. Heck. I have a dozen that sounds cooler or are not as embarrassing. But changing from *topia to *polis is questionable. If there was a word in the title that might be offensive (like fanny pack) I could understand.
