  1. What news sources do you guys use? I'm making a news-watching script that automatically shows me headlines so I can know when something neat happens, and later hook it to another site I bot. I know so little news stuff that I can only think of CNN.

      1. @metaltao Oh, I forgot about BBC. I heard a lot about them, as far as "Using a single source" goes.

          1. @metaltao @mrmattimation I'm mostly interested in it for major news stories like other countries going to war, and just to stir up conversation. So I'll go ahead and do BBC, then. Thanks~ <3

                  1. @metaltao They're my best friend. If I was a better programmer, I'd probably know some other fancy thing I could do for RDN / News / whatever bots. (The plan is to just make it go to the feed and, if there's a new one, print a clickable headline in my console).

                    1. @lvbot Actually I'll read up on what an RSS subscription thing is and probably start using that.

      2. @metaltao It's difficult to beat Fox News when it comes to a lack of objectivity.

          1. @metaltao It does get tiring of sifting through that stuff when looking for information on firearm forums, sites, etc., though.

            1. @m14brony Why do research when you can fake it?

              1. @metaltao They don't like reading and research. Twilight Sparkle clearly isn't their favorite pony. :(

    3. @lvbot I follow BBC, CNN, and Fox News, because CNN and Fox News have an insane bias BUT the BBC tends to get some stuff wrong.
