  1. So do you guys think The Elder Scrolls VI will get a speaking protagonist or do you think that's gonna be left with Fallout 4?

    1. @mrmattimation I think people won't talk about The Elder Scrolls VI a week after it's on the market, and that Skyrim was a lucky fluke. But I don't like open world games so I'm just a dick.

      1. @lvbot After three really well recieved games in a row, it'll be the same as the last one

        1. @nerthos Hush, it's bad.

          1. @lvbot As much as Skyrim was watered down, I really enjoy the franchise.

            1. @nerthos Eh, in the open-world world of games I preferred Fallout 4. Probably only because it had a clear main storyline in it, though. I haven't even played a jRPG for a while, though. Wanna ship me a free console, TV, and jRPG collection?

              1. @lvbot I don't own a tv nor fully own a console, and I don't play that many jrpgs. New vegas was better than 4.

                1. @nerthos Darn. For Fallout, I've only done 3 & 4. I didn't see much difference, visually from 3 and New Vegas, so what were some notable differences?

                  1. @lvbot The story is much better, the gameplay is polished (and things like damage threshold come back from 1 and 2), you can have more than one ending, and two thirds of the characters aren't clinically stupid like in 3.

                  2. @lvbot I mean, I actually liked a lot of characters in NV, while in 3 I was pretty much forced to spend 70% of the main story doing things I considered dumb for characters I hated.

                    1. @nerthos New Vegas had a much stronger emphasis on classic roleplaying and character writing, whereas 3 built its greatest strengths mostly from its exploration and worldbuilding.

      2. @lvbot Skyrim was a lucky fluke, eh? In that case, that makes it the fourth lucky fluke Bethesda had in a row.

    2. @mrmattimation I think they may revert to the old dialogue, but they will have a spoken protagonist.
