              @narwhal if they still make the setting in Japan I won't bother. If they make it in the West, I won't bother. They should have been content with the Matrix drawing off GitS what it did, and left it alone.

                @cawlliflower Right? We already have what's effectively a live action GitS that was handled by two much more capable directors for the film's genre (or at least for the first Matrix anyway).

        @scribus I really liked Pacific Rim, but I feel it owes more to Gundam and to mecha as a broader storytelling vehicle than it does to NGE.
