I just remembered back in school when the other kids would insist the show "Arthur" was called "Hey Arthur" like how stupid can you even be

@thelastgherkin In terms of gullibleness nothing beats that level like the toothfairy. Hey Arthur and Hey Arnold are probably 50% "toothfairyisms" and 50% "confuseisms"
-
@thelastgherkin If Hey Arthur taught me anything it's that we don't be so rude to others for silly mistakes
-
@thelastgherkin to be fair they say the word "Hey" like 20 times in the title sequence
-
@thelastgherkin i had a months long argument with some idiot black kid that only accepted the obscene meaning of the word "Potato Knishesy" in elementary school
-
@critialcloudkicker Arthur proves the existence of the tooth fairy? What??
-
@ellistia They also say "What a wonderful kinda day" a bunch too but nobody ever thought the show was called that
-
@thelastgherkin Nono, lets simplify. Kids are gullible and naive. Example : toothfairy. Kids are also easily confused. Examples "Hey Arnold!" and "Arthur"... So the answer to "Why did kids think it was called "Hey Arthur" ? is probably "a bit of both"
-
@critialcloudkicker Listen man, I am "staying woke" as the lads say
-
@thelastgherkin I tried this "woke" stuff once, it was horrible
-
@eris I knew a girl in year six who insisted the fast food establishment was spelled "MacDonalds".
eris likes this. -
@thelastgherkin ha I still call it that out of habit
-

-
