@princesstrixie meh. I stopped caring what people say. Insults and the fact that stupid and retard are insults and are commonly used hurts. But at least when people dole me off and insult me, I can tell them that yes I am mentally ill, and there is very little stopping me from stabbing you right now. That usually shuts them up

@renovatedkitchen *sees your post* I should format as well, but then I'll have to reinstall Windows as well and that's never fun (it messes with your bootloader and almost always removes any Linux entry you have there).

@renovatedkitchen I can also install Windows first, but then it'll get the faster half of my disc and I don't want that. Should check what would be best, I really like GRUB :x

@princesstrixie meh. It's okay. I'm not sure if it's hypo mania or OCD going crazy sometimes. Seems like symptoms of hypo, but lots of my OCD sticks out then too. Nah. I think yours is. I've been stuck in depression episode for a while now.

@omni so I see ^_^ I sometimes will pop on Ubuntu to mess around. I gave red hat a try, but got bored.

@renovatedkitchen Ubuntu is EZ- mode Linux, but works nicely out-of-the-box. I personally prefer Arch, which expects you to know what you're doing and wants you to build your own system from pretty much scratch. Configuring is so much fun!

@princesstrixie no. If I could just be normal, like the average person in life, I would be happier. I wouldn't be depressed, no suicide, have good friends, be social, have a love life, not want to kick and scream when my head hurts and list goes on. I wish I was without that, yes.

@renovatedkitchen By default not, but most people will install the desktop environment or window manager they like (I first installed KDE, but later switched to awesome). It's not really a system for beginners, but it's really flexible.

@princesstrixie to cope with it, it depends if it's not bad I will listen to crappy radio music and thank that I didn't make those songs, if it's worse, I will focus on something, if it's worse I will listen to heavy screamo music, if it's worse I think about different ways to die, if it's worse, well now I just resort to in a way shutting me down (will just sit/lay there thoughtless, can't move or anything) to stop me from self harm

@renovatedkitchen Of course, that's always something to think about. Gentoo, for example, gives even more freedom but you shouldn't expect to have a working system in less than eight hours (and that's probably a bit on the bright side), which really is a tad bit too long for my taste. Arch can be set up decently in half an hour or so, but I must admit that the first time took me several hours as well.
