@tavi Ive heard and checked. im fine.

@tavi I'm fine. Also why must you have cute avatars 24/7
-
@tavi the worlds going to end.
-
@tavi I can't argue with that.
-
@tavi Interesting fact! I've actually configured RDN's server in such a way that if any of our users are going to be impacted by this, they see a warning explaining how to fix it when they try to load the page. I've had it on for a month or so now, so hopefully they should have figured it out by now.
-
@techdisk42 @hugmaster @tavi http://www.dns-ok.us/ for future reference. hopefully that should work. If not then i dont know how to fix somethin like this :/ (shoulda learned damnit)

@tavi eh I've been looking for a reason to install Win7 64bit
-
@lyrica Zorin OS might interest you
-
@mrdragon Zorin? to be honest, I never cared for other OSes.
-
@lyrica It's basically Windows 7 melted down from it's rusty body and then smelted in to a Linux version with shining armour.
-
@hugmaster *explodes twice!*
-
@mrdragon I see
-
@pony Double Kill.
-
@hugmaster xD lol
-
@tavi yeah, but then I'd also have to find linux drivers for all my hardware, and does Wacom support the OS? also what about all my games and stuff that aren't linux? I'd have to use wine wouldn't I?
-
@tavi oh? if I can use my tablet without issue that's cool. but what about my software? Steam games, Paint Tool Sai, Photoshop, Winamp, all that stuff?
-
@lyrica :3 hay you
-
@tavi *almost* all. It runs those programs through Wine. Though wine does in fact run alot of windows programs, it cant run em all. also, Zorin isnt windows based, its Ubuntu based. but im gonna give it a try anyway. maybe it can support my GPU better than normal Ubuntu.
-
@lyrica if Wine doesnt run it, you can always dual boot windows and linux. when you need a windows program, you just start windows. everything else, linux.
-
@tavi I may try this OS.
-
@cajunbrony23 hay,sorry but I'm getting ready to go
-
@tavi hm. well i do have a powerful computer anyway. and about windows based, NTFS is usually supported by most linux.
-
@lyrica :(
-
@tavi NTFS is a filesystem. I would guess you probably mean the Windows API, since that's what Wine provides a compatibility layer for?
-
@tavi >NTFS programs >laughingnerds.jpg
-
@tavi oh? from what i remember, Wine is a windows shell emulator, providing .dlls and other windows things to programs so they can run in linux. hm. Well, im attempting to download the ISO now... lets test this theory.
-
@tavi the guy in the video also had wine in his zorin program list.
