  1. I'm tired of hearing bronies use the phrase "back in the day" when referring to the beginning of the brony fandom. You cannot talk about less than two years ago and call it "back in the day." The day needs to be at least ten years ago, more preferably 15. Also, you need to be at least 30 to use that phrase, because 14 year olds using that phrase to reminisce about something that happened 400 days ago is pathetic.

    1. @crusader8 And I'm tired of hearing "convert" or "love and tolerate." Actually, ESPECIALLY "love and tolerate." D:<

            1. @crusader8 Tolerance is pretty much: "You are a pain but I will not beat you up for it".

              1. @hakupony if the world loved instead of tolerated, the world would be a happier place! There'd also be lots of sex.

    2. @crusader8 Hm. Back in the day, i was one.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:17:36 UTC from web
    3. @crusader8 The fandom has changed so much, people who were around in it's starting months are allowed to use "back in the day". The thing is that people who weren't around use that because they don't understand.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:17:42 UTC from web
      1. @abigpony it doesn't take a unique "had-to-be-there" experience to catch up with less than two years' history of fandom. Seriously, it's not that deep. Like I said, there is no "back in the day."

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:29:01 UTC from web
    4. @crusader8 Can we say "back when I joined the fandom"?

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:17:56 UTC from web
      1. @redenchilada You can say "remember last year" or "hey two years ago, ____"

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:18:25 UTC from web
        1. @crusader8 Too bad. I'm going to say "back when I joined the fandom" to talk about things that happened when I joined the fandom.

      3. @yodelerty You will cry just like that when you are 24. Made me deduce that my age does not matter because I laways will be unsatisfied with it :)

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:21:50 UTC from web
        1. @hakupony But not when I am 21 because then I will satisfy the United States' ridiculously high drinking age.

              1. @yodelerty Ah. Ontario here :P and i only say 19 because i know thats the legal smoking age, but i dont know the drinking age. I assume they are the same.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:28:11 UTC from web
          2. @yodelerty not high enough in my opinion. Kids need to stop revolving their young adulthood around partying and alcohol. Or lower it to like something stupidly low so they can get used to it before they start getting behind a 2-ton murder weapon their parents buy their spoiled butt for their birthday.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:26:48 UTC from web
            1. @crusader8 The drinking limits don't work at all and if young people want to waste their lifetime, then I honestly don't care. I expect some level of maturity at that age...

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:30:17 UTC from web
            2. @crusader8 You really think the drinking age determines whether kids drink or not? It doesn't. Kids see it as rebellious so they do it. My quarrel with such a high drinking age is that, at 18, it's legal to get married and be a parent of children but you're not allowed to drink alcohol, which makes no sense whatsoever.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:30:58 UTC from web
              1. @yodelerty actually what determines whether kiddies drink is individual exposure to it. My parents exposed it to me when I was a young child. Tasted like crap, still does. A higher drinking age limit will help clear out some of the young dumb-bucks that clog up local areas where I attempt to chill at. So if they do it illegally, they gotta do it in privacy where I don't have to deal with them. Then the suggestion for really low age limit is so that they are rebellious and learn about their limits and the effects of being drunk before they get behind the wheel of their first car. I'll be satisfied either way.

                1. @crusader8 I don't drink anyway so I don't really know why I'm even debating this. XD

                  1. @yodelerty probably because youre 20 and ready to challenge the world and old farts like me.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:37:34 UTC from web
                2. @crusader8 I don't know how it is where you live, but over here, every teen knows somepony who could organize some alcohol - and most likely somepony who could organize some weed. They also consume it in public and just avoid the police. Set the drinking age too high and the people won't accept the law and this will expand

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:39:27 UTC from web
                  1. @hakupony yep, totally different where you live. It's easy for kids to get their hands on this stuff, but they got two choices - fake ID or at a friend's house when mean grumpy grownups aren't home.

Wednesday, 08-Aug-12 06:37:20 UTC from web
                  1. @yodelerty @scriba I don't really know what the limit for marriage is suposed to protect children against, but for alcohol and tobacco's age limit I'm heavily biased and wouldn't mind seeing it prohibited 'til full brain development has completed at 22.
