        2. @toksyuryel Oh hey that didn't get filtered. I don't know if I should delete that and rephrase it, or take it to mean those particular words are allowed.

        1. @minti @toksyuryel HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO PLAY ME... WHEN I AM ALREADY OBSOLETE? (dammit I just gave myself a sad)

          1. @bitshift For what it's worth, I always wanted to play Jet Grind Radio but couldn't justify an entire Dreamcast for one game.

            1. @toksyuryel I justified an entire Dreamcast for one game just fine

              1. @redenchilada I only had the option to get one console, and there is simply no denying that the PS2 was the clear winner back then.

                1. @toksyuryel I maintain that the PS2 only won out because of the third-party support. I enjoy many more DC games than PS2 games.

                  1. @redenchilada Another big aadvantage of the PS2 was that it supported PS1 games. Also Final Fantasy...

                    1. @hakupony Sega did a lot of great things with the Dreamcast. I'd love to figure out how to get ChuChu Rocket! playing online again, even though it'd probably require some fancy technical trickery.

                      1. @redenchilada Yeah, but after Final Fantasy 7-9, having the title for your console was an instant win. Same thing with Metal Gear Solid. Sure, Dreamcast did have some awesome games, but I could not name many "big" brands it did prosper from.

                        1. @hakupony I never cared for the big-name PS2 games, to be perfectly honest.

                          1. @redenchilada Well, aside from Ratchet and Sly. Nothing else ever caught my attention.

                                  1. @redenchilada Really? I really like Kingdom Hearts overall. There were a few things I didn't like but most of the time, it was just between awesome and cute which is the best mix...

                          3. @redenchilada Nothing wrong with that, but many people did and this is a big factor for the success of the console.

            2. @toksyuryel See, this is why I can't yet abandon Windows entirely (though I've made quite an effort in all other areas): http://store.steampowered.com/app/205950/

              1. @bitshift Well Steam for Linux is coming together at a quite frankly alarmingly fast pace, so that may change sooner than any of us think.

                1. @toksyuryel Yeah, but I don't see that one coming across, considering how long it took for even a Windows port to turn up. :(

                  1. @bitshift I believe Gabe stated that his ultimate goal is to port each and every Stream game to Linux.

            3. @toksyuryel I heard the recommendation is to just play Jet Set Radio Future because the original doesn't hold up.

              1. @jla They're both pretty excellent, but JSRF certainly wins on the soundtrack side of things, because really, what could possibly beat Funky Dealer?
