!gameloft Made it to the max level yesterday! I'm kind of sad I won't be getting any more bit bonuses, but I've already bought every pony and shop that can be bought with coins including the ponies that only become buyable in airplane mode so really it's no biggie. xD All my harmony stones are uncovered, but I still have a way to go before the magic stone is activated, plus I've got to buy some gems or do a TON of offers if I want to finish the quests and get Rainbow Dash. :3 I think I'll wait til Christmas and see if there's another sale on gems before opening up my wallet. There are still a few ponies I can buy with hearts so I've got that to look forward to in the meantime, not to mention map to uncover and prettify! http://ur1.ca/by6nh

@nerthos even in those scenarios I think it still has its advantages though! I mean, there's always the possibility of adding a safety bit to the tip, and in any case, as best pony, I trust Celestia's judgment with the use of her horn completely.

@nerthos @thatonestocking I've evolved beyond the belief that I should stifle that part of me in most situations. The only reason I usually do here is to avoid angering parents of foals that frequent RDN (and because Gherkin hates it).

@pony Problem is, those who behave and hide under a façade of calm and kindness are the most dangerous ones. In your case, there's no real danger, but I still instinctively react towards your tought pattern. You're pretty much the opposite of me. A guy who lets himself be overwhelmed by perversion and lust, instead of restricting and eventually killing it. And the fact that you're a married man only makes things even creepier.

@nerthos no real danger.. hmm.. I may not always be a safe individual actually, but at least I'm aware of that fact and can protect against my impulses. You raise a valid point. It's dangerous to be open with one's self and others about desire, etc. I've taken the risk in the name of self-acceptance and have been burned on many occasions by doing so. To me the pain has been worth it, not just for physical pleasure (though I admit that is a contributing factor), but the peace of having faced those difficult or socially taboo parts of me openly.

@fortecadenza yup! if you put your phone in airplane mode (maybe if you're on a tablet turn off the internet connection), the game changes the balloon prize ponies to buyable with bits.

@pony I personally think taboos are there for a reason. Whilst I don't agree with some, mostly the most recent ones, some of them are there to make society work properly. I'd fix the problem easily, with chemical castration. No hormones, no desire, no perversion, no danger. Sadly, law is weak.

@nerthos I've considered chemical castration seriously, talked with my doctor about it, etc. It's not for me, not right now anyway. The desire still remains even without hormones. /It/ is only superficially physical. /It/ is mostly emotional and psychological.

@pony Then go to an specialist, fix it, get over it. Keeping a malfunctioning piece just because yu feel like you can cope with it is just plain dumb.

@fortecadenza yeah neither did I for a long time. Weird glitch :P One very useful glitch I've found is that if you tap home (or pull the battery) in the middle of doing stuff around town your game will lose its progress from the last time it saved. I did this quickly after realizing I accidentally spent gems for somethign dumb, and, after restarting, I had my bits back.

@nerthos Everything I've read and heard says you can't get rid of what bothers me, and I feel that's the truth for me. Taboos do have their place, I agree, but some can be taken too far just like lust can.
