That feeling when you want to cry for no real reason
-
@renovatedkitchen *looks at your avatar* poor Colgate
-
@pony my Colgate avatar is all like, "yeah, whatever I don't even care man"
-
@renovatedkitchen Your Colgate avatar looks Aspergers-y
-
@zeldatra how's that?
-
@renovatedkitchen Ugh, I know that feeling... *hugs*
-
@renovatedkitchen yeah. except next to a dash about wanting to cry.. then her frown goes from apathetic to hiding a deep sorrow. :(
-
@omni its like when you realize what a fail life is and that you can't change it. *hugs*
-
@pony that's how I am usually, but I'm also usually forcing a smile so that no one asks
-
@renovatedkitchen whatever gets you through the day I guess. At what point will it be alright for you to get help and not but your career at risk?
-
@pony put*
-
@pony when I'm 60 and retired or shot down? Lol. I pull myself through each day. Can't rely on anyone to do it for you because you won't always have someone by your side.
-
@renovatedkitchen I was thinking maybe when you can afford private insurance or something that keeps your records safe from your employer/the government?
-
@renovatedkitchen you could also pay a doctor/shrink in cash without using insurance
-
@cajunbrony23 hi!
-
@pony the government pays for everything, but it's also shared knowledge. Can't hide it. Oh well, I'm going in thinking I won't come out, so if I do I'll get help then
-
@pony too expensive. I'd rather buy some more car parts
-
@renovatedkitchen Might be worth it, but I guess that depends on how much or whether you actually want the help. I love me some help! Been using the free services my university provides for years.
-
@pony lucky. I'd love some pointers. But yeah. It's also hard for me to actually admit to someone that there are some things wrong with me
-
@renovatedkitchen yeah. for some it's not easy. You might do well in a group setting. In groups you'd be challenged in a safe environment by other members to open up probably.
-
@pony Maybe. I dunno. I always lock up and lie. I've been to two different people and lied my way out of both
-
@renovatedkitchen saying you have a problem makes you have a problem.. And as Sonic says "that's no good".
-
@firestormdangerdash No, having a problem makes you have a problem
-
@renovatedkitchen deny everything is ehat I always say.
-
@firestormdangerdash Then you are just living a lie and wont know that there are sometimes you have to watch out for yourself
-
@renovatedkitchen watching myself is what I do best! Besides, until aliens take over the planet it is to boring to have issues over how boring everything is.
-
@firestormdangerdash Its not that things are boring, its that I have mental episodes sometimes (most likely, hopefully just anxiety), and have to be aware when they happen so I can get over them quickly and not freak ouy
-
@renovatedkitchen *out
-
@renovatedkitchen yeah. Even though groups do a good job at supporting and helping you be open, it all boils down to whether or not you want to be open, to trust, etc.
-
@pony I usually shy out in groups. Depending on the situation. Also, I trust very few people
-
@renovatedkitchen you'll be happier if you can bring yourself to develop close trusting relationships with more people. It's not easy at all
-
@pony its impossible because I've been screwed over by too many people. Especially the ones I bring close. I've kinda developed social anxiety. Afraid of people breaking our friendship
-
@renovatedkitchen You're better off~
-
@anarchycarcino I know. Today's people don't know anything about being good friends
-
@renovatedkitchen it depends on who you hang out with and how well you fit in, but yeah, it's not easy finding good friends
-
@pony and that's the circle of life. It's the next thing to impossible to find a good friend
