Semi-related: my brothers and I always shared a single file on videogames when we were kids. At least on DK64, anyway. Even the three of us combined couldn't figure out how to beat the Creepy Castle boss. I still remember finding out that Hideout Helm was a thing a couple years back.

@xeleanorxrigbyx So many people I know hate it because I guess they don't like how it makes you collect things or something. It's actually the only Rare N64 collectathon I bothered to 100% (despite being the biggest of any of them :Y)

@projectrainbowdash Emulators choke on DK64 so badly. I mean, it's nowhere near as bad as how they handle Banjo-Tooie, but it's still pretty butt.
