I feel kind of bad for the people who come here expecting to just casually pretend to be a pony, and not actually looking for to roleplay. People just kind of jump on them going NOPE NO ROLEPLAY xD

@minti I do that sometimes actually. By the way, I'm still stuck in Equestria and you buttholes haven't come to save me yet. >:/
-
@minti well I've seen people banned for just casual stuff.
-
@minti I only consider it roleplay if someone designates an OOC marker.
-
@minti I mean, it's still technically against the rules. But I still feel bad. xD
-
@zeldatra Send me souvenirs!
-
@zeldatra That's because we're hoping you'll be sent to the moon.
-
@redenchilada Yeah same, or if they ONLY act as if they're a pony. If you can get them to talk to us normally too it's fine. >>
-
@colfax ...the moon? This place has capital punishment? Interesting...
-
@redenchilada Detail level and verbosity are also warning signs.
-
@minti I don't mind people saying everypony and all that jazz, like you said "pretending to be a pony." So long as they aren't adventuring.
-
@scribus Exactly, as long as they're not playing a role other than their own (role-playing?!?)
-
@toksyuryel Yeah, but generally until they're writing paragraphs or using the #ooc tag it can usually be passed off as a little joke.
-
@zeldatra Well with an attitude like that, why would we?
-
@redenchilada The length of time it continues for is also relevant. And none of these can be assigned hard numbers. It's a case-by-case evaluation and as a subjective measure will vary depending on which mod is making the decision.
-
@toksyuryel It's not really as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. "Are they roleplaying? If yes, tell them to take it elsewhere. If not, continue."
-
@redenchilada Bro got flow(chart).
