@xeleanorxrigbyx He was still a robot at the end of 4 (except his head), he just had human looking prosthetics. He remains pretty human until the end of the prologue of Rising, where he gets his kiwi handed to him, so he upgrades to a full cyborg conversion, which involves putting just his brain into a case with an interface for the body.

@xeleanorxrigbyx Well, he did get stabbed in the face and have an arm chopped off (To which his reaction was "Not again"), so he was pretty much wrecked at that point anyway.
