    I'm of the opinion that people shouldn't /have/ to freak out over tiny slips of behaviour on here. This "The mods are thought police" thing is poisoning the site and it needs to come to an end. We should treat what happened today as our wakeup call and seriously rethink our stance on how we deal with stuff here.

      @ceruleanspark I'd literally love that. I failed to get that change to fruition while I was still a mod, even though I put a lot of effort into solving things by forcing people to talk politely and keep topics from being banned instead of flipping out, but maybe you can manage it.

                @firestormdangerdash I caused most of it back when I /tried/ to run the place. Which is why whenever I see the, "Things need to change" I just shake my head. Every time things try to change, it either ends up going back to the way it was. Or. Everyone throws that giant fit that lasts around a week or two. Most leave, some come back, you know. RDN in a nuttshell.
