@vt3c Uh... who cares if they openly supported SOPA? That doesn't stop you from piracy.

I am done with work for today :) ... Well technically I am still on call... But hey... What is new RDN ? :)
-
@critialcloudkicker nothing......*keeps firing red paint at mastertdi*
-
@lordsombrasetabominae87 Red paint eh ?
-
@critialcloudkicker red is a nice color
-
@vt3c I'd be chilling at a friends house if I was not feeling more like playing video games... Yea I am starting up GW2 right now just because I feel like it... Probably going to bed soon today too.
-
@vt3c The Origin thing ?
-
@vt3c I dislike EA/Origin to the level where I would admit to just pirating their stuff and having it work better thanks to it as an end result anyway... Including Simcity
-
@zeldatra On top of that I don't think any ISP ever is ok with piracy since it probably makes them look bad.
-
@zeldatra I purposefully chose a domain registrar AND hosting company who didn't, because I figure they're slightly less likely to sell me out to the NSA
-
@vt3c So ? As long as there are legal scapegoats noone should be able to touch you for what you do on the internet. Up to the point where some govnerment body would actually go as far as to investigate... ... So if I need to "find" my copy of Red Alert 2 and I have the option to either fetch it from the internet or the attic... I am going to fetch it from the internet.
-
@ceruleanspark HAH, good one. Unless if your ISP's name is Lavabit... Oh wait...
-
@critialcloudkicker I did say /slightly/
-
@ceruleanspark If I were living in America I would probably use a VPN with SECURE encryption to either Europe or a large nearby campus. Yes they could still trace your every move, but every bit of information they gather would be circumstancial at best
-
@critialcloudkicker Both the domain registrar and the server are outside of american soil anyway.
-
@ceruleanspark What if you were living in America instead of the UK ?
-
@critialcloudkicker I'd probably be to busy doing kissu kissu to care.
-
@ceruleanspark Kissu Kissu ? ... that sounds like a Jap or Weaboo thing
-
@critialcloudkicker They prefer either "Japanese" or "JP". They find Jap offensive.
-
@ceruleanspark You are Japanese ?
-
@critialcloudkicker No, but I've been lectured at length by one on that exact topic.
-
@ceruleanspark It does not take long to figure out why Japanese would not like being called Jap... ... Pearl Harbour inspired movies, clear and simple explanation
-
@ceruleanspark It's because they find it offensive right.
-
@anarchycarcino congratulations you have successfully followed the conversation this far. Can you make it to the end?
-
@ceruleanspark No. Because Job Interview.
