  1. I have this one computer buff friend. He's really annoying. "Why do you have an Xbox? Are you actually that retarded? Buy a gaming PC." "Your computer only has three gigs of RAM? Oh my god, wow, that's so terrible. Mine has 32." "Why do you use Flash? Use HTML5 or something, Adobe is terrible."

    1. @vt3c When he isn't being arrogant about computers he's super cool. Computers just really seem to set him off for some reason.

    2. @mrmattimation Hahaha why the f*** did he buy 32GB of ram that's useless

      1. @nerthos My servers all have 32gb of RAM in them.

        1. @ceruleanspark They're servers, not gaming computers. For gaming you won't be able to use more than 10 no matter what you do.

          1. @nerthos What about other things, like heavy-duty video rendering and encoding?

            1. @mrmattimation It might be useful for things like that, yeah, also for servers. But never for gaming. I've been running every game I've found so far on max on a computer with 8GB and I never run out of RAM

    4. @vt3c I don't think he actually understands what I do in Flash. My assumption would be that he thinks I use Flash to distribute my work, which I actually don't do. None of my cartoons exist in a finished SWF format anymore.

    5. @sprite Actually the finished file is always an MP4 thank you very much.

      1. @mrmattimation What does MP4 mean, does it mean video and audio?

Thursday, 17-Oct-13 17:00:07 UTC from web
        1. @pokestrike MPEG-4. Dunno what MPEG stands for, but yes, it contains video and audio.

    6. @vt3c Nah, you don't gotta do that. I have a new quad core coming my way soon-ish.

    7. @vt3c Let's just say some stuff happened in my favor. I don't wanna say anything's definite yet, but things are looking pretty good. Also I don't take charity. I don't need it, that isn't how I roll.

      1. @mrmattimation I'll take it... turns out I'm not too proud for that sort of thing.

        1. @colfax That is different. Way, way different than my situation.

          1. @mrmattimation Never said it was the same, I'm just stating a point.

    8. @vt3c Thanks for that. I also will be monetizing my YouTube soon, once I get an AdSense set up. 10,000 views on MLB ONE was enough to convince me that I could make some money on the side. So there's that.

      1. @mrmattimation Why do you always capitalise "ONE" out of interest?

Thursday, 17-Oct-13 17:11:25 UTC from web
        1. @mastertdi That was the working code name for the cartoon. This one is called MLB TWO, the next one is called MLB TRES, etc.

            1. @mastertdi Also it's the name I usually end up putting on the YouTube thumbnail.
