  1. @critialcloudkicker 1) Your "if we ban one word, we'll eventually ban all of them" point is a slippery slope that's presumptuous postulation at best. 2) There are plenty of other, better words you can use aside from "retarded" (e.g. ridiculous, preposterous, ludicrous, etc.) 3) If we all are in fact abiding by your rule of "don't be a dick", don't you think that deliberately saying words that you know are offensive because you're too stubborn to be sensitive is, I dunno, kinda being a dick?

  2. @critialcloudkicker Not a public affair but private, Github threatened to close a popular software project "Webm for Retards" if they didn't change the name https://github.com/nixxquality/WebMConverter/commit/c1ac0baac06fa7175677a4a1bf65860a84708d67

  4. @critialcloudkicker Not authoritative measure yet, but apparently there was a campaign on twitter to ban the word. And as usual, using social media to "raise awareness" of petty issue like banning words, it went without any success.

  8. @critialcloudkicker You think your response was funny? You think you're witty, huh? You think you can just say that to me and I'll have a little chuckle and click that favorite button? I'll tell you for free that I'm not gonna do that. I didn't even want to humor your wackyXD response to my rhetorical question, but someone's gotta slap your ass for your mistakes and I know no one else here will. Don't EVER try to be funny in my comment thread again. capiche?

  16. @critialcloudkicker @nerthos not more than half an hour later a fat guy approached "judging by the scruffmarks on this donkey you have obviously tried to carry it here. That only makes those animals lazy, and lazy service animals are the last thing that I'd EVER buy". The miller and his son then looked at eachother for a few seconds and decided then and there. ... 1. "we're going home" 2. "nomatter what you do, there is always someone there saying to you that you're doing it wrong" and 3. "the next time I think something is best the way I am currently doing it, I am going to keep doing just that"

Which is probably a really powerfull childrens story.

  17. @critialcloudkicker @nerthos The miller stopped for a moment and thought, well, maybe they are right, so he put his son on the donkey too. And continued the journey to the market. Once they got to the village the people started to point and stare. So the miller asked "what's with the pointing ?". "Arn't you ashamed of yourself, overburdening that poor animal ?". So the miller and his son got off of the donkey and... what now ? Eventually they decided to carry the donkey to the market. But as you can expect, many people started pointing at the odd display. And then they found a place to sell their donkey. The first potential buyer had this to say "You have overburdened the poor animal on the way over here, it looks like an absolute overworked beast of a mess"... not 5 minutes later someone else had a different opinion, "You should have combed the animal to make it look more appealing, right now it looks like a mess" ( next part soon )

  19. @critialcloudkicker The important thing was to take power away from peronism so the sacking of the state stops, and it did. New government isn't doing anything big, but it's getting things back into normal. You know, making deals with other countries instead of insulting them, not making people fight eachother, and not trying to keep currency steady by throwing fits on tv.
