@widget Yeah, I know about the whole DRM thing, but I find it stupid none the less, since I used to download anime in high quality and fit 18 episodes per DVD. Legit movies waste lots of space unnecessarily. Also the costs of a blu-ray player when compared to a DVD player...

@widget I don't really see the point of the Blu Ray format. You can easily fit 7 hours of 720p video in a normal DVD.

@widget What I'm trying to say is "I want them to put an estimate out in public, at least for artist commission ads that they state they offer reduced rates on, because I want the peace of mind knowing they're not giving me a quote that's different than the quote they gave for another person." Because I'm skeptical like that.

@widget Sometimes. I usually amplify it by about 6 db in Audacity, but it's not TOO major.

@widget I'm backing up really old CDs and DVDs back to my computer. I found a disk that has no label on it so I'm trying to figure out if I can get stuff off it

@widget The issue is I have no spare hard drives nor unused computers to extract them from and the one I do have only has a 40GB drive, which wouldn't be nearly enough space. I really should just get a new connector and start backing up my stuff again.

@widget Would it be easy to do that for a non-linux OS though? I've heard of things like that but I've only seen it done on Linux, not something like Windows 7.
