  1. @djhedgehog Here it is. Now,this may or may not be relevant to you, as I am speaking from experience, but it has helped me immensley, so I'll risk sharing.
"Yes, Masculinity and maturity are important. However, having 4 younger siblings (3 of them girls) I have been forced to do many "childish" and "girly" things against my will. However, I recently realized: Allowing your masculinity and maturity to instill a prideful hate of all things "girly" and "childish" is allowing society's view of you to dictate what you are willing to do and who you are willing to be.
In closing, Yes, be a man. Yes, take responsibility and take it seriously. But don't be afraid to do and even enjoy things considered girly and childish."

  3. @kolzach @djhedgehog Well, personally, I was used to receiving hate before I became a brony, so my view may be skewed, but kolzach's right. Be who you are. There will always be people who will dislike or even hate you. You can let them change you and try to be someone they will like, or you can be yourself. The choice is yours.

  4. @lulu I'd give you my letter, but after writing them, I decided they were too... personal. Sorry about that.

  8. @djhedgehog Meh. Most people I know either like me or don't. Being a brony has not pushed any over the edge, though it has given the people who don't like me "ammunition.

  15. @kolzach Umm.. Oh, there was a speech that someone gave, it's not really necessarily a historic point, but it was pretty awesome, nonetheless. It's called "what teachers make". Be aware, there's a bit of language and a middle finger. http://ur1.ca/giu1a
